Balvieri sweaters started its activities in the knitting industry
in 1989 making sweaters for men and women using manual machinery.
Today the company uses more advanced machinery enabling
it to offer the market products of different textures according
to their varied requirements.
To create out textiles 100 percent Colombian acrylic
fibers are used as well as a mix with natural fibers such as cotton
or alpaca from the renowned Miratex and Bogota Thread companies,
which have received Certificates of Quality Assurance, ISO-9002
issued by ICONTEC.
The concept of total quality control at all stages
of the production process has been a constant concern of the company,
enabling it to produce an excellent product.
The products are offered to the public via three wholesale
distribution locations strategically located in Bogota, and in other
cities at prestigious boutiques.
